EVERYTRAP besides ice/frost trap

[:1]Is broken. does terrible damag to single/aoe and or creats a terrible dot for 75 damag every 3 seconds with things that have 5 hp

what im trying to say 3 OF THE 5 TRAPS WE HAVE ARE MOSTLY USELESS AND BROKEN FAIL.

Blizzard likes them the way they are because apparently to Blizzard, having a broken and weak group of skills that has the most unreliable mechanic in the game, makes the hunter class "unique", their words.
Tho i do agree with the fact that Snake and our Fire traps do low Dps, i mostly built my way around it and i mostly use it now for defensive purposes (like guarding a flag in a BG, when it goes off i know someone is around), snake trap is still extremely useful for Pvp, if you spec into Entrapment, you'll see why and it slows the enemy down.
I'm assuming this is a PvP statement, but in PvE, explosive trap is still very useful, particularly for survival. On encounters that have multiple adds congregating around you, it's great for lock and load proc fishing. It also does respectable damage for a single gcd ae dot. It's certainly not serpent spread level damage, but it's still respectable.
Snake trap has some PVP uses. FD + Snake trap baffles the tab-targetters.
in pvp immolation trap is a joke
i use explosive trap for when i have to aoe off a flag (like AB) and im dett

snake is used for the 5s root. very useful

i cant tell if its a pvp thread or pve
if pve i cant see a point in immolation trap and snake, but hey, there are pve moves and there are pvp moves :P
Snake is quite good in PvP. In addition to the root, Crippling and Numbing poisons are quite effective.

Even better for SV Hunters.
