[:1]Just how rare is the Lion's spawn. I mean, should I expect to have to camp for days or is he relatively common?
He seems to have a 8-24 hour respawn timer, roughly.
id expect to pull an all-nighter or 2.
Caught him within a minute of looking haha. Ported, flew past his first spawn point and he was sitting at his second. Color me lucky.
Mostly every1 has the pet by now, if u occasionally check rare spawns when ure bored ull probly find all the pets you want.
I mine twilight highlands all the time for elementium ore and on general chat the other players will mention if he is up. This is how I got Samba and Karumba the spirit wolf.

So ask on general chat channel for the other players to look for them and mention a tip.

More eyes make it a lot easier.

Camping for them sucks.

It's been about a year since I tamed him, but he was on a 6.5 hour respawn cycle at the time.

Asking in General is helpful. Even if you only find out when he was last spotted. Getting an add-on that scans for rares is huge, too.

He can be tough to see because he is stealthed. I've seen him a couple times on my mini-map tracking when not using an add-on.

If you're on a High or Full pop server you're going to have to literally camp him if you want to tame him. He gets killed by newish players, who think he drops phat loot, and is tamed fast by other Hunters doing hourly fly bys untill they get him or give up.
